Malcithar had been living in the cave for as he could remember. He had lived 100 years off of creatures that could find there way into the rock. He didn’t like it but that was his life, at least until he could solve the puzzle of the door.
The door lies in front of you,
The key lies within you.
But until you can use it,
You will be trapped within it.
These words were carved in the stone on the only place in the cave where (if it weren’t for the giant boulder) a dragon could get through. The only problem was that the cave seemed to get narrower before it opened up, so the only way to remove the boulder was to pull on it. But if he were to pull at it the boulder would roll over on him, which would surely kill him. Besides that, it and been tightly forced in place. He had gained the ability to read minds and send messages to other people but what difference would it make? Only the force of a dragon could move that boulder.
When things got too hard he often meditated. This time he had been in meditation for three days straight. Sometimes he thought he heard something rattling near by but as soon as he turned to see what it was it was gone. Then one day it didn’t stop he found that pebbles were merely shaking, but what was making them do that? All of the other pebbles remained still what was different about these? Then he noticed that these were red so he tried a color element match and blew fire on them.
Now the pebbles began to glow and he felt different some how then he noticed that the boulder was gone he looked at the other end of the cave and found that the boulder had slammed against the wall. How that happened he didn’t care he was free!
