"Why are you so determinded to come with?" Kat questioned, "It's not like you're a squire or anything. I mean, what else could you do at the borders anyway? Sleep?"

"Border duty lasts a long time, trust me,” Drake said, "You'll probably be in the desert for mid-summer. Not exactly the most comfortable thing. I’ve actually seen things just burst into flames because of the heat."

Adara walked back in, "I've got myself a job. I will be working in the poorer areas of the city, curing diseases before they become a big issue. The monarchs pathetic attempt at looking charitable, when they actually don't want to get sick themselves. It would make them think the gods dislike them. When do you leave then?"

"Tomorrow," Wulf said, glancing at the piece of paper. "And Liz, if I can't stop you, so be it. I'm going to go back to the inn now," he said. "See you there."
Wulf, however, didn't plan to go straight to the inn. There was one matter that needed to be taken care of first...

"Liz, you could help me. You could use your magic too. It would make a difference, and maybe you could earn money and gain dependence from your parents in the meantime," Adara suggested. Liz would get bored really easily at the border.

"Adara. I WANT to go. I want to SEE places. I don't like staying in one place for too long and I've been here FOREVER! Its time to move on! So I'll go with Wulf."

((This esta Becca)) "Trust me, it will seem like an even longer time if you are on border duty with men. And this way, you can buy items. Even if your parents send you money, you would have no use for it. You would be on your own," Adara continued to try to persuade Liz.

Adara looked at the two, and then said to the healer on duty, "Such a lovely relationship they have, don't you think?"
The healer looked at her oddly and continued his work.

Dage walked into the healer's ward. She was still angry with James for leaving again.
