Khris brushed his horse, Kalwa's coat. Her black coat shown and her deep brown mane was free of tangles. She was Khris's prize possesion and he didn't know what he would do with out her. He put on her tack and saddled her with his luggage.

Eddy looked at Adara and then at the horses. "Hmmm," he said, "how experienced of a rider are you? I'm thinking that horse," he pointed to a pretty horse with a sandy coat. "Do you mind riding with Grace? She really isn't that good at riding although she doesn't like to admit it."

Grace walked in just to hear Eddy's last comment. "Hey!" she said.

Adara smiled, "Let's just say I am not at all a pro, basically, I know how to stay on... I like challenges- but if I am riding with Grace and we are traveling far... What would you say the temperament of that horse is?"

((basically, how gentle the horse is. Dogs get distemper shots which make them so they're not super aggressive.))

((most of the time good temperament will give you a slow but smooth ride and bad temperament is fast but rough and a bit hard to control))

Eddy grinned at being able to actually help someone,"HE may be a little quick, but that may work to our advantage."
Adara and Grace mounted their horse and Eddy and Khris mounted theirs. Eddy offered,"I'll lead the way."

((I know, I know, it took far too much godmoding, but they're finally back. If you guys disagree with the godmoding, we can go back and do the Midwinter shopping and going back to Sturmhammer Gorge, but we are NOT going to play the 3 week ride.))
After a legnthy ride, Wulf rode into the stable. The journey from Sturmhammer Gorge had been rather uneventful, other than the small celebration they'd had for Kat's 13th birthday.
His mum and sister were staying in the palace, and his brother had gone off to some inn with his friends.
Everyone in Halstrom seemed to be preparing for the Midwinter festivities that started the following night.
The city was beginning to look quite decorated.
"Well, that was a bit of a ride," said Wulf, dismounting from Feargas.

"I agree" said James dismounting Blackeye and taking off his pack from the back of the Horse. He stretched a bit and led Blackeye to his stall to be fed and groomed.
Dage followed but stumbled quite a bit for she was not used to riding for so long and was very sore. After tending to Starlight she went to the INN to meet up with everyone else.
